Bawah is a private island off the coast of Indonesia, just a short ride away from Singapore. I was recently assigned to shoot a series of branding visuals to illustrate the natural experience and luxury facilities of the resort. Aerial photography played a big part in this project, showcasing the spectacular views of the islands and reef, but also underwater photography to immerse the viewer into the crystal clear lagoon, and architectural images focusing on the sustainable integration of buildings into the local natural elements.
Raphael Olivier is a commercial photographer living in Asia for 10 years, currently based between Hong Kong and Singapore, available to shoot architecture, interiors, hospitality, retail and advertising campaigns all around Asia and beyond.
